FUN RUN

In recent years, the numbers participating in the Fun Run have been disappointingly low, well under 30, which may be due in part to safety concerns about young children running on busy main roads.

​

This is something which has also troubled the organisers and, as a result, it was decided in 2016 to trial new arrangements using a route based on circuits around the school and an obstacle course finish on Rally Park.

This minimizes exposure to traffic, is easier to marshal and contains a fun element. Feedback from the 2019 Fun Run was positive and the 2020 event will follow the same format. Hopefully this will encourage more entries from local youngsters and their parents!
